Senior Consultant-Risk, Compliance & Security

nnResponsibilitiesnn nnSenior Consultants have responsibility for client management, solution implementation and generation of project results.

You will own project workstreams and interact with the client daily to ensure engagement success.

This includes supporting day-to-day operational meetings with client sponsors and consulting leaders.

Senior Consultants are expected to prepare and communicate well-organized, effective reports and presentations to client and internal executives.

You will lead, coach and mentor consultants and ensure quality deliverables.nn nnResponsibilities include:nn nnSupporting workstreams that enable the assessment, development, and enhancement of business strategies, operating plans, business processes, organizational structures, and supporting infrastructure for clients.Applying cybersecurity & risk management framework knowledge to support the design of client deliverables.Applying technical competencies “on the ground” with clients.Communicating solutions and new strategies to clients through reports and presentations.Performing data collection, intelligence analysis, statistical & risk analyses in support of project objectives.Providing detailed fact finding, research, and analysis to further support delivery.We encourage career development and hiring for the long term.  As a Senior Consultant, you will follow a clearly defined career path and continue to deepen your specialized industry knowledge and consulting skills.

As you hone your project management skills, leadership abilities and the aptitude for managing multiple workstreams, you will have the opportunity to progress to the Managing Consultant level. nn nnQualificationsnn nnBachelor’s degree awarded in an engineering, science, business and/or security discipline3+ years working experience in Information/Security roles excluding internships, Co-Ops, fellowship and researchDemonstrated knowledge of Information/Security Compliance and/or Cyber Security in the utilities industryProject coordination or project management support experienceOutstanding analytical and problem-solving skillsVerbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills, with a high degree of self-confidence and determinationAbility to travelCurrently reside in the domestic United StatesDue to contract requirements, US Citizenship restrictions apply Preferred Qualificationnn nnIn addition to the above listed requirements:nn nnMaster’s degree awarded in engineering, science, business and/or security disciplineExperience working with NERC security compliance within the Bulk Electric System (BES)Cyber security experienceManagement Consulting experienceDemonstrated understanding in the following areas: Bulk Electric System (BES) and power systems, Electrical Reliability, NERC/FERC Enforcement, Critical Infrastructure Protection Standards (CIP), CIP related Cyber Securitynn nnAdditional Requirementsnn nnThe successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.nn
