Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a Security Field Supervisor interface between the Security Division Director and Security Officers/Professionals on post to ensure operations are functioning effectively and according to Post Orders and Company policies, and all after-hours operations and employee relations issues are being addressed in a timely manner.

* Responsible for visiting assigned post locations on a regular basis (specific schedule varies and may include duties after normal business hours) to monitor the performance of on-duty Security Professionals, address daily operations issues & any policy changes, and perform post inspections.
* Conduct on-the-job training of new employees assigned to post, or when changes to post orders are made.
This may include orientation to the post, review of post orders, routine responsibilities, and how to respond to emergency situations or specific client needs.
* Respond to call-offs that occur during the incumbents shift by identifying other individuals to fill-in and and/or stand post until such replacements arrive & assist Security Division Director with scheduling for call-offs or other staff or site scheduling changes.
* Identify & alert Security Division Director to any personnel problems occurring at posts, such as payroll issues, employee relations complaints or other concerns
* May be responsible for writing a report of the situation or assisting with an investigation, as directed by the Security Division Director or the HR team.
* May be responsible for administering counseling or disciplinary actions that have been initiated by the Security Director and/or HR team.
Field Supervisors may not make or initiate such decisions on their own but may execute such actions at the specific direction and or collaboration of the Security Division Director and/or HR team.
* Distribute information/communications to posts as directed by the Security Division Director, which may include obtaining signed acknowledgements or other documents, and returning such documents to the Security Division Director
* Respond to client or site emergencies as they arise, including ensuring appropriate communication to the Security Division Director occurs post incident.
* In the event of an abandoned or open post, Field Supervisor is responsible for identifying available personnel to fill the post as quickly as possible with qualified personnel; however, Field Supervisor may be required to stand post on an as
– needed basis for an undefined period of time, based on operational business needs.
This may include long-term assignments to specific posts or various posts, as the need arises.
* Field Supervisor is responsible for maintaining all current required licenses and ensuring a working knowledge of all posts within his or her assigned area of responsibility and other duties and tasks as assigned.
Required
– Education, Licenses, Certifications & Skills
* Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
Some college education in criminal justice or related fields is a plus.
* Minimum 1 3 years of professional-level work experience required.
Prior experience in the security industry, law enforcement, military and/or customer service is highly desired.
* Must submit to and successfully complete a background investigation (as allowed and in accordance with federal and state laws as may be in force at the time the position is filled).
* Must be able to maintain the current, active status of any required guard license at all times, and must carry the license at all times while on duty.
* Must be able to maintain a current state drivers license, clean driving record (no points in prior 3 years), and the ability to safely operate a golf cart and/or vehicle and/or bicycle if assigned to a position requiring operation of such vehicles.
* Must be able to provide own reliable transportation (or access public transportation) to consistently get to/from work on time is required.
* Ability to maintain reliable contact via company cell phone for assignments or changes to schedule.
* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required.
Preferred Experience and Skills
* Working knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office software is a considerable plus.
* This position requires excellent attendance and punctuality.
Incumbents must commit to being on time, must be able to work in a very independent environment, and ensure all directions and instructions from the Security Division Director and/or Joffe Management are followed consistently and thoroughly (such as delivery of items to client sites, training of officers at sites, standing post as needed, etc.)
* Demonstrated ability to be customer service oriented, with the ability to professionally interact with all levels of individuals in a courteous manner, and to de-escalate situations before they become hostile or unpleasant.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use both hands, is frequently required to stand, sit, stoop, talk and hear (communicate verbally in person and via regular telephone equipment), and must be able to read computer screens, correspondence and reports in English.
Must be able to write handwritten reports in the field in clear, legible English.
* Must be able to work the entire shift/weekly schedule on a consistent basis and maintain excellent attendance in accordance with company policies.
Must be able to work overtime as needed, including being able to stay over if relief is not readily available at the end of the incumbents shift.
* The employee must be able to constantly walk with both legs, stand for up to the entire shift, and constantly reach with both hands and arms.
May be required to drive a vehicle, golf cart or bicycle, so must be physically fit and able to pass company driving/bike handling tests.
The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Must be able to climb stairs, ladders or ramps on a regular basis to respond to emergency situations.
May require periodic running.
Must be able to perform these duties in the event of a security or emergency situation and be able to take a leadership role (act as a First Responder) in assisting others to perform these functions.
* Must be willing and able to wear the proper uniform at all times (includes providing own black socks and shoes), maintain good personal hygiene and grooming to meet company standards, and present self in a professional, well-groomed manner (uniform is clean and pressed, shoes are polished, general appearance is clean and business-appropriate.

* The job is generally performed in various environments, including outdoors, in parking structures, and in office settings, and the employee may be subject to adverse conditions such as rain, cold or heat for extended periods of time.
* When executing the responsibilities of the Field Supervisor role, the ambient noise level is usually quiet, consisting of normal conversations, business machines (copiers, printers, etc.) and telephones, but occasionally may be above-normal for portions of the shift.
* Must be able to hear clearly, with or without reasonable assistance, and be able to hear audible alarms.
* Must be able to see with reasonable assistance (glasses/contacts/correctable vision acceptable) and be able to distinguish colors.
