Our mission is to close the achievement gap by unlocking and democratizing access to extraordinary educators and the content they have to offer.nn nn n nn nnAbout the Rolenn nn n nn nnNumerade is seeking an SEO Manager to lead and execute SEO strategy and operations, with the goal of organically bringing the world’s largest STEM video library to every single struggling student.

Through collaboration with our Growth, Product, and Data teams, you will ideate and operationalize SEO strategies and tactics, provide best-practices feedback via technical and design audits on new and existing product features, and monitor and analyze key performance metrics.

You will also help guide and influence the mid-to-long term SEO roadmap and vision, as Numerade transitions from an early-stage company to a best-in-class consumer product.

nn nn n nn nnResponsibilitiesnn nn* Develop new SEO strategies and growth tactics based on extensive analysis of internal datasets and research trendsnn nn* Track and assess ongoing Search Engine algorithmic changes and the impact on Numerade’s content library, and make strategic product and content recommendationsnn nn* Develop and own initiatives to increase search coverage surface areann nn* Implement both internal and external linking tactics to grow domain and page authoritynn nn* Monitor branded/unbranded keyword rankings and create keyword strategies based on current data trendsnn nn* Work with engineers to maintain, size and prioritize a tech SEO backlog (maintenance and growth)nn nn* Lead SEO groups to design solutions, prioritize, implement and track results of SEO optimizations required (SEO campaign management)nn nn* Conduct in depth analysis of key competitor SEO performancenn nn* Collaborate with Growth and Product teams and manage publication of search optimized content, identify new content opportunities, and measure page performance.nn nn* Identify upcoming trends and coordinate a strategy for how to best position Numerade for the changing organic landscape.nn nn* Identify and implement technical adjustments to create higher performing pages and healthier site structurenn nn* Produce quantitative reporting and qualitative explanations on weekly performancenn nn* Help manage external agencies, partners, and platformsnn nn n nn nnRequirementsnn nn* 5+ years of relevant SEO experiencenn nn* Bachelor’s degree, preferably with an analytical backgroundnn nn* Ability to ideate novel, non-conventional solutionsnn nn* Strong understanding of technical SEO on structural and performance levels (E-A-T, Core Web Vitals, page speed, and ability to provide solutions for improving these measurements)nn nn* Experience with SEO software (Ahrefs, Moz, BrightEdge, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, DeepCrawl, STAT, Conductor)nn nn* Functional knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScriptnn nn* Ability to manage project workflows across multiple teamsnn nn* Excellent communication skillsnn nn* Experience with performance analysis, especially within Google Analyticsnn nn* Strong analytical and quantitative skillsnn nn* Preferably experience in the edtech industry / consumer learningnn nn n nn nn****(IMPORTANT) PLEASE FILL OUT THESE SCREENING QUESTIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:nn nn n nn nn nn
