Sales Manager, Refill – Eastern U.S.

Overview of the Sales Manager
– Filtration This position is responsible for proving leadership to Sales Associates to effectively maximize new profitable customer acquisitions and achieve budgeted goals by implementing strategic sales plans, evaluating and adjusting tactics required to meet changing market and competitive conditions.

Responsibilities Manage and motivate a team of sales associates to acquire high quality, long-term, customers within targeted customer base.

Ensure effective recruiting, associate development, and retention of sales associates to create a productive customer acquisition team.

Analyze sales reports to identify performance trends and improvement opportunities.

Support sales associates with customer visits and relationship management activities, as required.

Manage operating expenses in-line with budget expectations.

Ensure effective communication between direct and indirect reports.

Develop and maintain effective working relationship with operational counter parts.

Ensure compliance with relevant corporate policies and procedures.

Perform additional job duties as assigned by management related to obtaining, setting up and securing new customers.

Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Strong business sense and industry expertise.

Ability to effectively implement customer acquisition strategies.

Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.

Ability to meet sales quotes.

Ability to hire and lead a team of productive sales professionals.

Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, email, data input, etc.).

Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Ability to travel in support of company initiatives.

Ability to meet Department of Transportation (DOT) driver qualification policy requirements.
