– US River Cruises position is an integral part of our company sales strategy and we are looking for a highly motivated individual that will be responsible for growing this specialized product within the agency community, building and maintaining agency relationships, identifying new business opportunities, achieving financial goals in the assigned territory, and maintaining extensive knowledge of competitive market conditions.

The Sales Manager
– US River Cruises will have a specialized product line(s) and will be considered the dedicated account expert.PRIMARY DUTIES:Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:Travel Agency Sales, FIT and Group SalesCultivate strong networking relationships with designated accounts for a successful long term business partnershipRepresenting Pleasant Holidays at Trade events (consumer and advisor) and onsite / online training of specific productsExtensive travel is required throughout the United States for agency visits.

In addition the hosting of travel agents and FAM trips to domestic and international destinations on assigned product line(s)Participate in trade shows, seminars, FAM’s and industry events, as requiredBe the dedicated account expert of assigned product line(s)Conducts sales training and product presentations to support the sales team effortMonitor and analyze performance metrics and suggested improvements to senior staffAssist in resolving customer concerns, developing solutions, and following through to resolutionPerforms other duties and responsibilities as assigned by managementPREREQUISITES:This highly motivated person must have:3 years of relevant travel industry experience with a proven track record of sales growthPrior Cruise sales experience preferredExcellent communication and presentation skillsExtensive travel agency contacts and agency relationshipsMust be self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skillsMust be highly responsive to emails and phone callsMust be able to work nights and weekends, extensive nationwide travel requiredMust be able to drive and meet the requirements of the company Safe Driving Program.LOCATION: Remote
