The successful candidate will understand what motivates customers to buy while creating a strategic growth plan to meet sales targets and revenue growth.
The Sales Manager is also responsible for promoting leadership and direction by cultivating relationships with the sales team, clients and upper management.
+ Responsible for hiring, developing and leading a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed revenue, profitability and product mix sales goals for our ergonomic workplace solutions+ Assist in advancing the sales process for individual sales opportunities within your team+ Assess sales probability and forecast revenue expectations+ Conduct minimum number of interviews in order to maintain bench strength for your sales team+ Observe and participate in sales calls with all team members for sales development and coaching+ Assess sales representative skill sets and create and maintain individual development plans+ Implement established corporate policies, procedures, strategies and manage sales budget+ Manage dealer and direct distribution channel conflict+ Serve as a liaison between customer service and the customer on shipment and quality matters+ Complete sales activity, pending business and 30-60-90 day forecast reports, general customer service and maintain customer contact database+ Maintain a strong understanding of all Humanscale products, including task seating, keyboard supports, flat panel monitor arms, task lighting, CPU holders and other ergonomic work tools + Effectively work with other Humanscale personnel, such as A and Monitor Arm Representatives+ Bachelor’s degree in a related field required+ At least 8+ years of outside sales experience with at least 3 years in management+ Strong leadership skills combined with a positive attitude and desire to succeed+ Ability to mentor individuals with various levels of experience+ Experience in hiring and developing sales teamsWHAT WE OFFER:+ Competitive base plus commission+ Monthly auto allowance+ Cell phone, laptop, etc.+ Medical and dental benefits+ 401k matching+ Paid time off (including 15 PTO days and 9 holidays)+ Expense budget+ Humanscale University sales trainingHumanscale is an Equal Opportunity Employer (M/F/Disabled/Veteran)ID: 2020-3065 External Company Name: Humanscale Corporation External Company URL: www.humanscale.com Street: 1000 Wilshire Blvd Remote: No
