Job Description
The role of Sales Account Manager will support two Business Units; Eurofins Eaton Analytical and Eurofins Calscience.
Account Manager Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Identifying, qualifying and closing potential customers
- Managing a sample pipeline and spending budget
- Coordinating response to quote and proposal requests
- Visiting current and potential customers
- Attending regional and national industry conferences
- Participating on industry committees
- Making technical presentations and attending sales meetings
- Responsibilities will also include collaborating with Project Managers, as well as developing and maintaining a working knowledge of our firm, our customers and our laboratory operation. The primary target customer sectors shall include public water agencies, commercial laboratory partners, water quality consultants and Federal/State government entities
Qualifications
The ideal candidate would possess:
- Professional, knowledgeable, confident and friendly demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good computer, Word and Excel skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proven track record (at least 10 years) working with customers in a sales or customer service role.
- Minimum work experience (at least 5 years) in a Commercial Laboratory or the Water Industry
- Willingness to travel 2 to 3 days per week
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
