Sales Account Manager

Position: Regional Account Manager – Municipality Wastewater

Location: Los Angeles / San Diego, California Also Texas, Arizona, Colorado

International company located in Denver with unique water technology for the Wastewater industry is hiring two Regional Account / Sales Managers (MUST have sales to municipalities)

Individual can be located anywhere from California to Dallas to Phoenix

Individual will report to the Global Sales Vice President

Responsibilities:

  • Hunting potential customers within water municipalities.
  • Execution of the marketing and business development programs
  • Attain revenue and profitability quotas
  • Researching and identifying potential US customers for the company’s value added products and services.
  • Participating in industry conferences, exhibitions and other events.
  • Being involved in all aspects of the sales cycle starting from lead generation to contract negotiation

Required Skills & Experience

  • The position requires an individual with a deep knowledge of the water industry and strong sales and business development experience.
  • Ideally will have at least 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing within the US water industry
  • Should have sold into Municipalities
  • Should have a network that connects to individuals in Water Municipalities
  • Proven communication & interpersonal skills
  • Proven organizational skills
  • Consultative and Collaborative Sales approach
