Our Roadways Corporate Business Group is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager in to provide strategic and technical leadership in Southern California, supporting our continued growth and expansion in the West region.
You will serve as a senior technical advisor and be actively engaged, representing Gannett Fleming in professional associations, serving as the primary interface with clients and teaming partners regionally.
Projects may include street, highway, transit and multimodal design.
Responsibilities:
Develops and executes Roadways CBG strategic plans for Arizona, aligned with region and corporate strategic goals Contributes to the development and execution of Roadways CBG business plans, budgets, and performance goals Contributes advice and direction to major proposals, risk assessment and mitigation plans, and project execution plans in Arizona and regionally Supervises senior staff and has overall responsibility for operations in Southern California.
Responsible for key technical relationships with clients Serves as a Senior Engineer or Strategist for large, complex, or strategic projects in Southern California, and support for regional initiatives.
May serve as Quality Assurance Manager and or Principal Manager Contributes to corporate strategy, business plans and programs Develops scopes of work and provides input for negotiations on complex and/or large projects where multiple disciplines are involved, and work is conducted across multiple offices and/or disciplines Other duties as assigned
Education | Experience:
Minimum Qualifications
BS in Engineering Professional Engineer (PE) License in the State of California is required 20+ years of relevant industry experience Strong reputation for delivering studies, design concept reports, and/or final designs for projects in Caltrans District 7 and 8 and other local municipalities Alternative Project Delivery or Design Build Experience is a plus Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Awareness and understanding of advanced design software and advanced computational software applications Experience with supervision and development of staff Knowledge of multiple disciplines such as roadway, transit, bridge, geotechnical, drainage, traffic, NEPA, transportation planning, and civil/site Excellent oral and written communication skills, able to lead client presentations National, regional or state recognition for Transportation experience or expertise
