Job Description
• Reporting to the Controller, oversee all areas pertaining to VCAJ’s revenue cycle, include accounting, internal controls, develop and reporting of revenue KPIs and charge capture process at the hospital level.
• Assist Controller with period-end GL close with responsibility over the revenue cycle including revenue recognition, discounts, trade A/R, and maintenance of customer A/R sub ledgers
• Responsible daily reconciliation of cash deposits against revenue activity from hospital practice management systems
• Manage reporting and analysis of revenue metrics, providing narrative on revenue performance and sales mix
• Partnering with the Operations Direct, lead and implement the charge capture process to ensure proper recording of billing activities to facilitate reporting of revenue by category (sales mix)
• Prepare period-end closing schedules to support variances in revenue-cycle related GL balance sheet accounts
