Overview

As Relationship Coordinator, you are responsible for providing support to one or more bankers in maintaining key client relationships/revenue streams, as well as serving as the primary day to day contact for clients. You will act independently as a liaison between clients, bankers, and operations staff, responding to client inquiries in a timely and accurate manner. You will possess a general knowledge of all Private Wealth Management’s (PWM) products and services including guidelines and procedures and can utilize and navigate the full range of internal resources and systems applications. You will be expected to research account and transaction records to resolve discrepancies, and answer questions or provide documentation on client activities. You will be capable of advising and/or resolving most client service issues, as well as be able to identify cross-sell opportunities and assist with the development of marketing proposals.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide back-up phone coverage when bankers are unavailable, provide timely and accurate follow-up for assigned projects, serve as primary contact for clients, handle problems before they become significant, and prepare customized reports/summaries as needed
  • Organize and maintain files, correspondence, and records in accordance with policy; facilitate client directed transactions (including account closures, maintenance, etc.)
  • Responsible for new client adoptions – know your client (KYC), account opening, etc.; manage and drive all EDRs and regularly review KYCs to completion
  • Monitor account overdrafts and large transaction activity, identify, and suggest ways to improve current processes, provide support for key business initiatives/projects, and adhere to all regulatory policies and operating procedures
  • Provide support to assigned banker(s) in acquisition of new clients and revenue streams; maintain deal pipeline to reflect current prospects, active deals, and revenue estimates
  • Prepare client presentations and assist in the design and implementation of marketing proposals; identify cross-sell opportunities through client interaction and inform bankers

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Undergraduate/Bachelor’s degree required
  • Series 7 & 63 is recommended
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with clients, managers, and peers
