Summary

The Regulatory Compliance Manager will be a key member within the organization, providing provide regulatory oversight of compliance for cosmetics products.

Description

  • Ensure regulatory compliance related to new product development, ingredients, and products.
  • Provide regulatory guidance, advice, risk analysis and insight for pipeline and exiting products.
  • Manage all regulatory liaison activities between the various groups (R&D, Marketing, manufacturing, and contract manufactures).
  • Provide product regulatory compliance clearances for launch across cosmetic and skin care product categories.
  • Actively monitor and communicate the regulation changes in the industry.
  • Review and approve product labelling/artwork and other marketing materials to ensure compliance and applicable regulations.
  • Involve in product claims discussions and provide claims approval.
  • Review of Safety and efficacy testing results.
  • Oversee the collaborate with 3rd party testing labs to conduct product safety and OTC tests.
  • Coordinate toxicologist review
  • Develop and manage all documentation for regulatory compliance.
  • Formula issuance on new and revised products.
  • Management responsibilities of 2-4 team members

Profile

  • BS in Chemistry or equivalent years of relative experience
  • 5+ years experience in regulatory and compliance
  • Experience advising on and a good technical knowledge on Regulatory requirements for cosmetics products
  • Experience managing a team and confidence to make decisions
  • Able to organize/prioritize your own and the teams workload in response to business priorities
  • Good attention to detail
  • Strong Communication skills
