Regional Sales Manager – Midwest

The Regional Sales Manager
– is responsible for increasing brand awareness and promoting the sale of MILE® stone branded products in 12 mid-western states, living within the assigned sales territory.

Interfacing with new potential clients and maintaining and growing the existing client base.

Responsibilities: Weekly travel within the assigned sales territory.

Seek out new customers and sales opportunities for driving revenue, while meeting the assigned budget goals.

Build long term relationships with key contacts at target customers.

Apply learnings and experiences to streamline sales processes.

Represent the company at trade events.

Analyze sales trends, market dynamics and reports to determine business growth potential.

Use various lead generation tools (website, blog, promotions, word of mouth, trade shows, market research, cold calling, emails, etc.) to create a database of potential targets.

Ensure MILE® stone marketing tools are being utilized and are prominently displayed in customer showrooms.

Manage the sales pipeline by clearly communicating from customers to internal departments.

Effectively execute and manage on every element of the sales process.

Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s Degree; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience: Experience with tile in the field of sales or interior design is preferred.

However, we are willing to provide on the job training for the right candidate.

Physical: Required travel up to 75% Competencies: Strong communication skills, advanced computer skills in MS Office suite, goal setting, and sales area management.

Additional skills: Have a flair for selling and building relationships with individuals and organizations.

Excellent persuasion skills, ability to spot opportunities and go after them with gusto.

Ability to work independently without supervision.

Ability to work under constraints and to make the most out of allotted resources.

A love for travel, using the internet, email, and telephone to connect with customers.

Professional and Problem solving attitude.

Patience and the ability to tactfully handle customer negotiations.

Punctuality, always on time for scheduled meetings.
