Regional Account Manager

Job Description
The Regional Account Manager is responsible for managing clients who have agreed to sell annuity payments through the payment transfer process. They will work closely with Sales, Operations and Legal to ensure that transactions are performed in a timely and accurate manner for clients. They are responsible for ensuring that each client is highly satisfied with the service they receive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with the customer, explain agreement documents and obtain client’s signature.
  • Facilitate development of best interest by discussing with client and reviewing prior cases, reasons for prior deals and how client used prior funds.
  • Review deal documents to ensure they are signed correctly, are accurate and comply with state filing requirements.
  • Obtain case documents from court when appropriate.
  • Meet customer when necessary to gather additional docs necessary to file a petition.
  • Follow up with courts to ensure a hearing date is set in a timely manner.
  • Obtain items needed to complete file for funding.
  • Work with third parties to obtain lien clearance and payoff information
  • Compile documentation supporting Best Interest. If necessary, connect client with real estate agents, identify potential properties, get estimates for home repairs, get documentation of debt to be paid off, etc.
  • Retrieve signed orders from court.
  • Check-in with customer every 2 weeks in person.
  • Arrange court preparation with inside counsel and ensure it has taken place.
  • Test client responses to questions likely to be asked in court.
  • Obtain customer signature on stipulation.
  • Work with Sales and Operations team to answer inquiries on deals.
  • Work with annuity companies to ensure documentation is in order and deal is clear.
  • Update Protrac database on deals as necessary.
  • Serve as quality control checkpoint for deals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree. Customer service experience in a financial services environment.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with clients and explain financial concepts.
  • Must be able to drive to client’s location and meet with them on their schedule; including evenings and weekends.
  • Attention to detail to ensure compliance with standards.
