Food Rocket is an application that provides customers with on-demand 10-15-minute grocery delivery without the delivery fee or minimum order requirements from our dark stores within a 1-mile radius.
We are bringing a completely new grocery buying experience to our customers by replacing regular stores.
You will be responsible for sourcing new locations, negotiating and finalizing leases, overseeing new location fit-out, construction and managing the facilities of all Food Rocket’s fulfillment centers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build and lead a team that is responsible for sourcing new locations, negotiating and finalizing leases, overseeing new location fit-out and construction and managing the facilities of all Food Rocket’s fulfillment centers.
Create and implement a sound Real Estate strategy that ensures hyper efficient real estate acquisition that is matched with precision fit-out and construction.
Write the Food Rocket’s Real Estate Playbook, and iterate and improve it with every new launch.
Negotiate lease terms and conduct the financial analysis on potential locations to inform our Real Estate strategy.
Ensure all Food Rocket’s FC’s are compliant with all applicable regulations.
Manage broker and Landlord relationships as our Real Estate representative in Los Angeles.
Responsible for large-scale, high-budget projects and juggle multiple at once.
REQUIREMENTS:
10+ years of experience in the real estate sector, ideally working in fast paced start ups.
Retail scaling experience is a plus.
5+ years of team management experience.
Excellent time and task management skills.
