Real Estate Asset Manager

Real Estate Asset ManagerA growing Boston-based real estate operating company with core competencies in value-add, development, management, and long-term ownership of multifamily and workforce housing is seeking an experienced Asset Manager.

The candidate will lead the company’s Objective/Missions to: 1.

Maximize return on investment; and 2.

Increase value of our real estate assets.

All company’s assets are in the Greater Boston area.Asset Management responsibilities:(20% of time).

Oversee our in-house and third-party property management through monitoring annual operating and capital budgets.(20% of time).

Oversee areas of capital improvements, insurance, RE tax and loan covenants.(20% of time).

Conduct asset and market tours to review property operations and physical conditions and to understand properties and market dynamics.(15% of time).

Review, prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual asset performance reports to management and investors.

Prepare internal valuations and projections on performance and asset values.(10% of time).

Assist property management teams in preparation of operating and capital budgets, business/asset plans and leasing strategies.(10% of time).

Provide support in acquisitions and dispositions on the underwriting, due diligence and transitions.(5% of time).

Responsible for maintaining and updating all documentation and contracts related to assets.Qualifications:Minimum of BS degree or equivalent.Minimum of 7 years of experience in real estate asset or property management, finance or accounting.Minimum of 3 years of direct asset management experience in multifamily sector.Strong Excel modeling skills.Ability to travel to asset sites in the Greater Boston area.Excellent attention to details with aptitude for numbers.Work in our Boston office.
