Nature and scope: The Project Manager Renovations role is responsible for the overall development, scope, coordination, communication, tracking and control of renovation initiatives and projects within the department.
Works in coordination with finance, operations, development, and subcontractors to ensure a timely seamless process.
The Project Manager-Renovations is responsible for execution of initiatives that are consistent with company strategy, commitments, and goals.
Minimum eligibility requirements: Diploma or degree in construction, renovations or related field preferred.
3-5 years of construction-related experience preferred.
Ability to communicate with local, state authorities as project requires.
High energy levels and tolerance of tight deadlines, time pressure, and ambiguity Advanced analytical, creative thinking, and quantitative skills preferred.
Must demonstrate the ability to work responsibly and independently as a team member as well as an individual.
Strong workload organizational skills with the ability to multi-task required.
Experience with Microsoft office.
Proficiency with Word, Excel and Power Point preferred.
Must be competent in identifying needs assessments, planning and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills and must be able to speak knowledgeably to all levels of people.
Strong problem-solving skills required with the ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations.

Essential functions Function as key liaison for communication and information organization between the Company, Supervisor, and the Vendors contracted to complete the projects.
Assist in obtaining and organizing budget documents from General Contractor, Approved Vendors, and subcontractors in consultation with supervisor.
Participate in developing initial projects schedules in consultation with all parties.
Maintain electronic filing system for all projects, adhering to company standard protocols.
Update schedules with critical path items and ongoing review and schedule tracking Participate in project update calls with key project personnel.
Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.
Maintain documentation of all update calls and (Owner, Vendor, Contractor) meetings as directed.
Responsible for inspecting each project and maintaining within approved scope and budget.
Obtain and maintain required vendor documentation per company protocol.
Obtain insurance certificates and W-9s from contractors.
Ensure any required permits and inspections are facilitated, and documentation maintained.
Conduct site visits to inspect initiation, progress, and completion of each project.
Ability to negotiate, adapt, and manage conflict as required.
Provide weekly updates to include progress photos of assigned projects.
Perform other duties as required and assigned.
Education/Professional Requirements High school diploma or GED required.
Bachelors degree preferred.
