WHAT WE NEED YOUR TALENTS, SKILLS, AND PASSION FOR
- Responsible for assisting in all aspects of project planning and implementation of product development and key business initiatives – develop and update project scope and plans as they change, drive information-gathering, decision-making, and timelines across the various departments the project touches within the organization
- Manage project portfolios across multiple sales channels (including new products, product extensions, exclusive promotions, holiday, gratis) with manger oversight
- Manage multiple projects concurrently with an exceptional level of detail, but remaining agile, and flexible in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where you will often work independently under tight deadlines with continual changes and adjustments. Being flexible is key.
- Collaborate with the cross functional team (Marketing, Operations, E-Commerce, Sales, Product Development, Creative) to ensure products are brought to market on-time
- Generate and maintain project timelines in online project management system, from inception to completion; establish regular reporting for individuals, groups, teams, departments, and executive office
- Work with manager to ensure you have full understanding of process, softwares, and timelines. Over communicating is better than assuming or taking risks unnecessarily
- Don’t be afraid to ask for help or clarity from fellow team members or department leads to understand fully the PM process and your part in the cycle of project delivery.
- Act as online project management system administrator, troubleshoot system issues with outside vendor, and become the system expert
- Establish and continuously improve project and process guidelines, working with your manager to ensure adherence to changes
- Communicate project status, delays, associated risks, and updates throughout the company
- Lead stakeholders to solve complex problems in a challenging, dynamic environment with minimal direction
- Report and escalate risks, issues and changes to manager before they become a much bigger issues, recognize patterns and potential risks.
- Assist in leading and facilitating meetings/workshops with project stakeholders with manager oversight to achieve the desired outcome
REQUIREMENTS and QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-4 years of proven working experience and knowledge as project manager.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with reputation as a relationship builder and communicator.
- Can communicate in a tactful, firm and clear manner so everyone has clear expectations.
- Exceptional organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Prior experience in a CPG environment required, beauty industry experience preferred
