Account Director, Product Design

We are looking to add an Account Director, Product Design to our team.

Product Design at T3 applies an agile mindset and design thinking methodology to solve our clients’ problems with design.

We believe products should be useful, innovative, and valuable to the people who use them.

As our Account Director, you will provide client leadership and growth strategy for the Product Design business unit.

Your role is to oversee the growth plan for the Product Design business unit, and collaborate with BU account directors to manage clients across product design, development, and loyalty departments.

Youre passionate about design and know-how a lean design organization works.

You build collaborative relationships with our clients, help define their digital strategies and plans, and guide each account within the agency’s service model.

You take the time to listen, to understand, and to clearly articulate what clients need.

Internally, you provide support for the day-to-day operations of a $10M portfolio of business.

You will share the responsibility of the annual BU revenue target.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

  • Persuasively and effectively communicate with senior-level clients across multiple industries on behalf of the agency
  • Be actively involved in new business efforts from qualifying opportunities to leading pitch teams 
  • Identify, pursue, and close growth opportunities with our existing clients
  • Provide support for the day-to-day operations of a $10M portfolio of business
  • Inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to deliver excellent, industry-leading digital experiences
  • Advocate for and model an agile mindset and design thinking practices to solve client business problems
  • Contribute thought leadership to our clients as a subject matter expert on digital product strategy, design, and development
  • Coach and mentor indirect reports who are essential to PD success: delivery managers, technology leads
  • Manage the Product Design Playbook, working closely with the GM of Product Design to adapt, evolve, and improve our offering
  • Effectively collaborate with other business units (Loyalty, Technology, Brand)
  • Understand and be able to represent and cross-sell the full suite of Material services, and be a part of service evolution

Requirements

What we want:

  • 8+ years’ experience leading enterprise-level digital product design and development work, in-house or with an agency, with direct responsibility for client management
  • Philosophical alignment with the agile manifesto, design thinking, and design sprint methodology, and the knowledge to credibly discuss and support
  • Portfolio of client successes across web, app, and connected experiences and a clear, well-developed point-of-view
  • Financial management and reporting expertise, including project estimation
  • Strong presence and presentation skills
  • Experience with creating client-facing presentations and artifacts
  • Demonstrated proficiency/experience in modern technology and software tools, like Google Slides and Miro, and workflow tools like Confluence and Jira
