The diverse nature of our engagements creates challenging and rewarding opportunities for growthRequirements: Define and develop strategies aligned with client’s maturity, operational / regulatory environment, goals, and missionCreate multi-phase roadmaps that prioritize and sequence an integrated list of project initiatives that add value to the client’s operationsDefine KPIs and perform assessments of a client’s current state against industry standards Identify costs, risks, and benefits associated with a proposed course of actionAnalyze and map business processes and identify opportunities for improvementsUnderstand a client’s operations within the broader context of their industry and function and recognize the impact of significant economic or environmental events may have on the client’s operationsDesign and lead executive alignment sessions to build consensus among leaders for client project and program initiativesDesign and employ data gathering techniques based on project requirements or constraintsImplement project management practices to structure engagements and manage deliveryManage project scope, budget, and resources according to contract requirementsDetermine metrics to measure team productivity and performance against project objectivesFacilitate issue resolution, scope management, and change requestsIdentify project team member strengths and delegate responsibility as a means to grow and empowerDevelop proposals and statements of work for new engagements, including methodology, approach, and pricing / resource modelQualifications:5 years’ experience in project management in a consulting environmentAbility to effectively communicate and work with executive level client contactsTechnically adeptProficiency using a variety of electronic document management tools / platformsFluent in the Microsoft Office product suite, including MS Project Familiarity with one or more project management methodologiesUnderstanding of information management principles as they relate to the information lifecycleExperience working in cross-functional teamsSuccessful candidate will possess the following characteristics:Excellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to be flexible, demonstrate critical thinking and work effectively in fluid environmentsStrategic thinkerAbility to prioritize and manage multiple complex tasks at the same timeTakes the initiative to learn and grow in our evolving professionAble to engage and establish positive relationships with all levels of the organizationLeader with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectivesHighly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiativeStrong analytical skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsEducation Level:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experienceAccess Sciences is an employee-owned consulting and managed services firm headquartered in Houston, Texas with a national reach.
