Job Description: Project Manager Location: Lorton, VA The candidate must have strong knowledge and proven experience with managing IT Projects The candidate will be expected to lead projects supporting Domestic Voice, Data, and Wi-Fi services The candidate must be process driven to ensure that projects are completed within scope, schedule and budget The candidate will create project milestones and project plans The candidate must keep accurate records on all projects managed by his team and prepare status reports as required Agile knowledge and experience is a plus Required Clearance: Top Secret Required Qualifications: 5 years of progressive IT/telecommunications engineering or management experience 3 years of PMO experience based in PMI foundation processes Bachelor Degree (or additional years of experience in lieu of a degree) Desired Qualifications: Proven project management skill against multiple, simultaneously running enterprise level projects Experience in adjusting a customers existing waterfall PM processes into a successful Agile solution PM and Telecom engineering experience within the DOS or a Federal Agency at the enterprise level 5 years of enterprise project experience scheduling in MS Project 8-10 years of experience creating and updating documentation using MS Word PMP Certification is desired but no required EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
