Project Manager

Coordinate as needed with OCSE staff to ensure that tasks are executed in line with program direction, priorities, and processes.

This coordination includes but is not limited to: RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Manage the design, development, and maintenance of agency software applications using Agile and DevOps methods.

Maintain system architecture to reflect emerging requirements and improvements in environment.

Maintain inventory of agency applications and other assets according to established process.

Monitor day to day operations of application development and maintenance teams and provide direction to resolve issues and mitigate risks.

Develop work schedules and carefully monitor progress to ensure all application work is completed within the defined work schedule.

Review deliverables and evaluate for accuracy and potential improvements.

Train, coach and mentor Application staff including career development.

Provide written and oral reporting of portfolio performance to government leadership and others to meet scheduled and ad-hoc requirements.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES Prior successful experience leading teams in an IT environment, preferably with federal clients.

Prior successful experience managing Agile/DevOps.

Must be US Citizen and possess or can obtain public trust clearance.

Must have minimum 5 years’ experience.

Must have 2 years’ experience in Agile development methodology and DevOps.

Experience managing multiple concurrent software/application development projects, operations & maintenance activities, and staff.

Experience leading development, implementation, and configuration of custom and commercial off the shelf application software.

Experience developing and maintaining system architectures.

Experience managing matrixed / virtual teams to deliver services.

Strong customer service orientation: ability to collaborate and influence.

Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Ability to simultaneously work on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Strong verbal and written communications.

Comfortable delivering and presenting to client senior executives and stakeholders.

Demonstrated experience with having authority and accountability for meeting related contract deliverables and requirements within budget and the use of appropriate tools to track project deliverables such as project plans, and timelines.

Experience managing projects Health IT or Health and Human Services a plus.

Experience using Jira and ServiceNow a plus.

Required Qualification:
• M.S or B.S.

In lieu of an M.S.

or B.S.

degree, four years additional relevant experience is required.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

• Public Trust Suitability-US Citizenship Required
