Senior Sales Manager: 
– Lead the team in all aspects of account growth including strategy development, integrated account planning, opportunity identification, and value communication
– Define entitlement and identify areas to penetrate and grow profitability
– Interface directly with the marketing organization to drive high value solutions leveraging the company portfolio
– Serve as lead Technology Launch Advocate, getting new technology defined, installed, tested, approved and commercialized.
– Serve as a conduit for solutions detailed understanding of customer’s business model and how products and services develop and deliver added value to the customer
– Build customer relationships and communication at all levels
– Matrix with existing functional and P&L teams to achieve growth objectives
– Structure, price, negotiate and close deals
– Actively participate in community events with the customer
 
Skills, Experience, Education:
– Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
– At least 5 additional years of experience of direct sales, account or team leadership experience
– Experience with rail transit industry (rolling stock manufacturers, major railroads, local light rail transit systems, railway signaling solutions providers, etc) will be a major plus
– Experience as a sales manager, commercial operations manager, etc
– Solid experience in business development or building growth plans is preferred
– Able to develop and maintain customer relationships at all levels, including the CEO staff level
– Strategic or product marketing exposure, including product development, Value Story creation, and launching new technology with customers.
– Customer-centric mindset, able to translate customer issues/needs into profitable business solutions
– Strong oral and written communication skills
– Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
– Established program management ability
