Project Management Analyst

Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated PMO Analyst with reporting and documentation experience to join our Civil Market team in the Washington, DC area to support our government clients. The PMO Analyst is a multifaceted role working in collaboration with other teams across the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with our team and under the guidance of program managers to support project management reporting, documentation, help desk tickets, security vulnerabilities, and testing strategy. 

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage with a wide range of stakeholders and grow their skillset in many areas including project management while working with a motivated and entrepreneurial team in an Agile environment.

 

Job Responsibilities:

As a PMO Analyst you will:  

  • Work on continuity documentation of processes
  • Ensure weekly reporting is submitted on time with clarity and accuracy
  • Project manage our security vulnerability work to ensure security vulnerabilities are remedied in timely manner and coordinate with the security team
  • Support test strategy tasks to include manual testing
  • Review Jira Stories to ensure they capture the details of the development work and are clear and understandable for the developers to do their work
  • Ensure Jira stories are updated regularly with comments from the developer team and contain the required artifacts/deliverables
  • Manage help desk tickets by triaging the tickets, assigning tasks, creating Jira stories, and providing responses

 

 Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in IT or Business; over 5 years’ experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience working on large scale IT projects.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in Project Management. 
  • Familiarity with PMBOK Framework.
  • Experience with Jira and MS Office Tool Set: MS Project, Excel.
  • Familiarity with Agile

Nice to have qualifications:

  • Scrum Master certification
