Program Supervisor

It’s always a GOOD day in SoCal Primary Responsibility / Summary Along with the Program Manager, the Program Supervisor is responsible for the planning, organization, administration, and supervision of the activities and functions of the supported employment department. Provides training and supervision to Job Coaches. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Supported Employment Program. Reviews documentation provided by funder to determine each participant’s program eligibility. Provides participant case management, counseling, crisis intervention, and case staffing in partnership with funder, direct worksite supervisor, and participant family, if applicable. Provides direct on-site supervision of participants at program sites in the absence of available Job Coaching staff. Engages regularly with program funders to ensure all programming requirements are being met. Coordinates meetings with prospective employers for potential participant placement. Monitors all program authorizations for billing purposes and ensures that all required monthly reports, program plans are completed as required. Manages records of department services and submits periodic reports on status of programs. Assists Program Manager and Director in preparing annual program budget. Responsible for the submission of placement follow-up, satisfaction survey, participant information data, CARF required documentation. Obtains 40 hours of professional development training annually and works as part of the training team. Additional Duties & Responsibilities Other duties and special projects as assigned. This position requires some travel within the local areas (25% to 50% of the time) a valid CA driver’s license and state-required auto insurance are necessary. Driving records must be acceptable by company’s insurance vendor. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding, developing and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; assisting with Leave of Absence coordination when applicable. If managing program participants subject to section 14C of the Fair Labor Standards Act, ensures performance and productivity measurement activities for these participants are accurate, timely, and in compliance with DOL. Prepares all required documentation for compliance and DayForce system. Supervisory Responsibilities This job supervises 10-25 Job Coaches. Education & Experience Min. 1 year of supervisory experience. At least 2 years of program implementation experience in a vocational rehabilitation or equivalent setting preferred Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university preferred. Must have the patience and abilities to work with individuals with various disabilities. Good communication and people skills. Knowledgeable in sub-minimum wage 14C regulations helpful. A self – starter and multi-tasker. Detail oriented with exceptional organization skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Non-profit experience preferred. Spanish / English bilingual preferred.
