Ad Operations Manager

Company Description We are seeking a talented and experienced Ad Operations Manager.

This role provides a vital bridge between Media (digital, social, linear), our media and tech partners, and our internal constituents, and is responsible for ensuring flawless execution of our digital and TV/video campaigns in the areas of ad platform / pixel maintenance and governance, digital and television spec procurement, spec translation and dissemination, co-authoring and implementing digital tag/material trafficking, monitoring live digital campaigns for implementation issues, coordinating and delivering TV traffic rotations and instructions, assisting with social campaign Q/A.

Please note that we will be working a hybrid schedule in our West Los Angeles office.

Job Description Coordinate with Media to understand upcoming campaigns and traffic/tagging needs Facilitate ad platform pixel and tagging implementation on sites, and proper functioning with GTM Assist with campaign (or other efforts) URL tracking taxonomy and build out Gather and translate digital specs for project management/production teams Build digital traffic instruction (co-author with Media) Ensure event tagging and URL tracking is properly implemented Issue digital traffic instructions/tags and materials to media publishers Q/A and monitor live digital campaigns for proper serving and tracking Assist social team with in-platform campaign Q/A Gather, translate and share video specs (digital and linear) with Project Management/Producers Coordinate video creative rotations process across key teams Build and issue video traffic instructions Closely partner with Media on changing TV schedules Communicate deadlines across teams to ensure material delivery aligns with executional needs Recognize, analyze and quickly solve discrepancies between ad servers Work with teams to identify and design new tools and systems to improve efficiency Stay current on upcoming technology product capabilities Qualifications 3-5 years of directly-applicable work experience Bachelor’s degree Proven experience with ad management technologies such as DCM/DFA; DCM Certification a plus Deep knowledge of digital video tagging and trafficking across media platforms Strong familiarity with IVT/viewability technology (e.g.

IAS, MOAT, DV) and implementation of these Functional understanding of Google Analytics and GTM; certification/class work a plus Familiarity with key social/digital ad manager platforms (e.g.

Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest) and their pixels Experience managing and directly working with clients and ad vendor Trafficking/Ad Ops teams Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent attention to detail Strong written and oral presentation and communication skills Proactive approach to problem solving, addressing issues and raising concerns Familiarity with HTML and Javascript Television trafficking a plus, especially past use of MediaOcean, Donavan, etc.
