Learn more about your job:
The Program Manager is responsible for overall implementation and supervision of the SPA 6 Prevention and Aftercare Program, Community and Center Enrichment Program, and other programs as assigned. Responsible for the overall quality of program services and maintaining statistics on program services as required by funders and organizational CQI process. Position is responsible for the quality improvement of the programs and budget oversight. Under the AD of Operations, will works in close coordination with the Regional Administrators of local DCFS offices, and collaborative partners is primary program leader and responsible for ensuring the attainment of all programs. Position will have oversight of program budgets, evaluation plan, ensuring to integrate DEI and Trauma informed initiatives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for overall program direction and attainment of program objectives and outcomes

Maintaining accurate statistics and reporting on Prevention programs

Lead point of contact for Prevention and Aftercare, subcontracted agencies, any funders

Supervision of Program Supervisor, Administrative Assistant and subcontractors

Development and implementation of Program Evaluation Plan to measure attainment of Prevention and Aftercare objectives and outcomes

Development and implementation of quality assurance plan for Prevention and Aftercare

Oversight of all budget requirements, CQI and program evaluation

Consultation to AD and DCFS on validation of outcome measurements and other evaluation tools used by the program


What you will need to bring:


Work Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience providing education or social services
  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience


Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

  • Master’s degree in behavioral sciences, psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited university


Knowledge/Skills

  • Demonstrates exceptional planning, management, partnership development, collaboration and implementation skills;
  • Cultural competence in the cultures of the families served by Prevention and Aftercare is preferred
