If you like to make data-based decisions and flex your creativity in a forward-thinking environment, then we’d like to talk to you.Role & ResponsibilitiesThe Yahoo Mail Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and tactics to drive adoption and usage of Yahoo Mail across mobile apps, mobile web and desktop. This highly cross-functional role partners closely with the product, research and marketing teams to understand user needs, competitor offerings, and industry trends to inform the product roadmap, positioning, and audience growth strategies.Specific responsibilities include:Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to execute against the acquisition, engagement, and retention goals for Yahoo Mail across available marketing channels including product onboarding, CRM, social, mobile networks, SEM, and Yahoo NetworkBe a subject matter expert about Communication apps including subscriptions and in-app purchases, competition, and industry trends; become a trusted advisor to Product ManagementTrack, test, and optimize the user funnel to ensure key performance metrics and to continuously improve best practices; be proficient in ASO testingAnalyze user needs and identify/prioritize the problems, pain points, and pleasure points (via analytics, behaviors, blogs, ratings/reviews, feedback, surveys, etc.).Ensure consistent usage of Yahoo Mail positioning and messaging in all assets working with internal and external agencies to develop compelling creative briefs and produce differentiated assetsPlan research necessary to understand customer needs and new opportunitiesQualificationsMinimum 5 years of consumer marketing experienceConsistent track record of executing marketing programs that drove acquisition, retention, and engagement with proven results.Proven track record of experimentation leveraging data insights to drive growthProblem solving skills and the ability to apply analytical thought in evaluating issues.Comfortable delivering results to senior-level executives within the company.Proven success in a fast-paced, matrixed work environment, as well as the ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing, and highly competitive industryGreat teammate with outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to exert influence.Outstanding written and oral communication skills.Someone who enjoys a hands-on role but can also see the big picture and connect the dots.Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to effectively lead multiple projects simultaneously.Someone who knows the importance of maintaining a fun, collaborative working environment.4 year college degree requiredAbout YahooYahoo is a global media and tech company that connects people to their passions.
