Product Marketing Manager


This is a Full-time position in Los Angeles, CA posted March 31, 2021.

The BBTV Direct sales team is looking for a strong Product Leader to develop and package products for our digital video-focused ad offering.

The Product Manager is a highly collaborative and strategic thought leader, passionate about digital media and video advertising innovation.

The ideal candidate cares about customers, understands the value of solving user challenges, the impact on the business and the importance of the context surrounding advertising.

This role is available to candidates in our major markets in California, Seattle or Chicago.

n nAs part of the Direct Sales team, you will own BBTV’s digital video-focused advertising core product offering, lead its development, ensure its adoption and plan its evolutions.

n nResponsibilities : n n Strategy n Define, specify and drive the execution of the Direct Sales video product plan/roadmap in collaboration with BU leadership, Strategy and Sales team.

Supports Sales Team with strategic proposals on RFP.

Works with Sales Team on Client Strategy.

Develop strategy and execute on key industry events.

Utilizes a holistically approach regarding our product offering, and how the strategy fits into the larger ecosystem of distributed content and media platform industry.

Leverages market insights and consumer feedback to identify opportunities and determine priorities and build & execute product strategy.

Analyzes potential solutions and overall benefits to the clients.

Model potential revenue and margins growth in the market.

Works cross-functionally and leads discussions amongst key stakeholders and collaborators to build and execute product strategy.

Determines roadmap and timelines for new, or improved products accounting for business priority and resource availability.

Performs ongoing in-depth business analysis on projects to deliver results and insights to meet sales expectations.

n Product Development n Collaborates cross-functionally with the BU leadership, Strategy and Sales team to deliver new products and product enhancements.

Strategizes and oversees the development of new products or improvements to current offerings.

Maintains oversight of quality control throughout product development and execution.

Work closely with the Product Management Coordinator n Release Management & Ongoing Product Management n Develops the Product presentation framework.

Provides ongoing product training for Sales.

Responsible for creating the outbound social marketing communications directly to clients.

Researches and analyzes internal network and external Brand studies.

Develop release schedules.

Development and promotion of relevant product client offerings leveraging content from across BBTV’s network of content creators.

Tracks success of the business unit and continuously evaluates opportunities to drive revenue.

Develops and maintains product documentation.

n nRequirements: n Degree in Marketing or equivalent 3-5 years of Product Management experience Brings 2-3 years’ experience working in digital media, preferably with experience developing video products.

In depth understanding of the video advertising market
– ideally on Google, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram.

Experience working with Media Agencies and Brands.

Proven ability to independently develop a strategy from start to completion utilizing your strong listening and collaboration abilities.

Proven successful collaboration with Engineering, Strategy, Design, and Sales teams to develop successful and innovative digital products.

Demonstrates knowledge of technical and operational requirements of products and projects.

Proven ability to communicate using technical engineering language (APIs, technical documentation, systems, etc).

Brings prior experience dissecting and leveraging data to interpret market dynamics, understand user behaviors, measure product performance, identify pinch-points, and inform decision making.

Absolute passionate with digital advertising market.

Shows ability to effectively communicate and influence across a variety of platforms as needed (messenger, video conferences, in-person gatherings, phone, email, etc).

Ability to leverage a consumer perspective when developing a product.

Demonstrates a history of creative problem-solving and with autonomy.

Demonstrates a passion for the video advertising marketplace with commitment to delivering best-in-class advertising products and consumer experiences.
