We’re looking for a seasoned and multifaceted Product Marketing Manager to support a growing Catalogue business for our Pet S egment.
Dallas Manufacturing Company, a division of Central Garden & Pet,that manufactures and distributes pet beds, is seeking a full-time Product Marketing Manager to be responsible for business and product strategies for Catalogue products, and the customer categories using catalogue products.
This position requires a strong Sales and Marketing leader who can continue building on our current strategic partner position, generate profitable growth in B&M and online, and liaise between the Brand Selling Organization (BSO) team and cross-functional internal teams to exceed the expectations of the customer and maintain our leadership position with Catalogue Account Groups.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS Responsible for developing new business and growing existing business through sales of our catalogue bed program in B&M locations and select branded products on E-commerce programs.
Develop the DMC product catalogue that defines product, pricing, and sales strategy with a focus on minimizing the SKU count to high volume opportunity SKUS.
Develop collaborative sales programs for the BSO team to execute using catalogue SKUS and a limited number of seasonal promotional SKUS.
Stay current on product, services, market, strategies, and company initiatives.
Stay abreast of category trends and insights by monitoring syndicated scan data and evaluating competitive products, market share, pricing, and advertising.
Facilitate marketing and business decisions for Catalogue by providing actionable decision support and value-added market analysis.
Develop strong working relationships with internal and external teams to create a collaborative environment that supports the business strategy, tactics, and timelines.
Provides leadership related to development and launch of all new products and line extensions, including customer presentations, promotional plan, and marketing support.
Develop Pricing Strategy for new and existing products.
Maintain and deliver customer forecast while developing sales plans that meet/exceed company sales and profit objectives.
Operate as the primary point of contact for all matters specific to the BSO team for DMC programs that support category management within the pet bed category for Catalogue Account Groups.
Lead any category reviews to ensure continuity of category share.
Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
Possess a working knowledge of supply chain and product development while directing all aspects of product development functions for Catalogue SKUS.
Handle all high severity requests or issue escalations as needed.
IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES Bachelor’s degree in related field, required.
Minimum 5 years of sales and/or marketing experience in consumer products Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibility and effectively at all levels of the organization, both internal and external, including executive and C-level Experience in building client-focused solutions based on channel needs Experience with product design/development in “home décor” category, preferred but not required.
Ability to manage multiple projects at a time and in coordination with cross-functional resources, experience with Sales Force and other Project Management tools a plus.
Detail-oriented Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Requires excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills (familiarity with SAP helpful, but not required) Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
