JOB DESCRIPTION Portfolio Manager for Commercial Bank in Downtown LADuties and ResponsibilitiesUnderwrites CRE loans and middle market clients: facilitates the preparation of credit underwriting and analysis of new and existing CRE and C&I loans in connection with renewals and modificationsPrepares stress test reports for all loans secured by real estatePrepares quarterly and annual reviews of existing loans to assess credit quality and covenant complianceManages a complex CRA loan portfolio which includes maintaining credit quality, delinquency control, adherence to bank policies/procedures and compliance in all banking regulationsPerforms investment reviews as assignedEvaluate loan purpose and disbursement procedures for all loans and determine source of cash collateral on cash secured loans in accordance with the bank’s Bank Secrecy Act policy and proceduresSkills RequiredExcellent verbal and written communicationExcellent organizational and analytical skillsPrepares rick rating change memosWorking knowledge of credit, accounting, and credit policiesFinancial reporting interpretationCredit analysis/ data analytics/ tax experienceExtensive experience with Word/Excel*Great location in the Financial District, easy 110 freeway access/ metro strop on 7th and Figueroa*Bonus included at Bank’s discretion*All major holidays off and paid time offJob Type: Full-time
