Our mission is to build real community over magical coffee moments.We are as fanatical about supporting the communities we serve as we are about excellent quality and hospitality, and our aim is to build the most human centered hospitality company in the World.About the JobThe Director of Finance at Go Get Em Tiger reports into the CEO and is responsible for building and executing financial strategies that improve the standing of the company. The Director of Finance will analyze operations and their financial outcomes, providing actionable guidance for the entire team to improve profitability at every level of the company.The Director of Finance will be responsible for financial forecasts and revenue modeling as well as analyzing actual vs budgeted results to continue to improve plans to hit or exceed those forecasts. They will need to work cross functionally to achieve clarity around how operational decisions factor into those results, and understand hiring and capital spend projections to continue to build greater clarity around those expectations.The first 3 months in this position will be dedicated to building company budgeting processes and distributing refined budgets to all relevant teams.GGET is a growing company, but that doesn’t mean profitability is not a priority. The Director of Finance will work closely with the CEO to build excellent diligence around company finances and policies.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesOversee financial operations systems and accounting of the company.Manage and mentor internal accounting team.Forecast and manage company cash flows.Set financial goals, lead budgeting process and collaborate cross functionally to achieve those goals and budgets.Perform regular financial analysis and detailed reporting for company leadership and the board of managers.Supervise internal control processes.Implement best practices in accounting and manage accounting team.Assist in company financing activities.Manage banking and credit relationships and coordinate with external entities on behalf of the company.Analyze company spending and revenue to generate recommendations for the company.Manage and analyze capX budgets for company projects.Maintain familiarity and fluency with the company’s qualitative goals to make decisions and recommendations informed not only by financial analysis, but the benefit of the company and its brand long term.Comply with and lead any company audits.About YouWe get excited about candidates with the following qualities…Excellent culture leaders, team builder, and collaborator with a problem solving attitude.Highly organized with an exacting attention to detail.Strong leadership skills with an ability to build and maintain a collaborative and highly engaged teamProactive leader that identifies areas of opportunity and recommends future actions.An effective project manager that coordinates implementation among various teams and geographiesMaintains good energy and a positive, “Say Yes” attitude at all times.Communicates effectively and professionally before many audiences (e.g., CEO, store teams, third parties)Effectively negotiates and manages external vendor relationships.Product obsessed with a unique passion for coffee, food and overall quality.Team player: you build trust with your teammates and work collaboratively across departments. Experiential Prerequisites5+ years’ experience in strategic finance, accounting or FP&AMinimum 2+ years serving in a controller or greater financial leadership roleExperience in retail or hospitalityBachelor’s degree in business, finance or related fieldMBA or Master’s in Finance preferredExperience setting and managing goal metrics, including revenue, EBITDA, labor expenses, inventory health, and COGS KPI’s.Experience working with high level accounting software.
