Plant Manager – CHEMICAL

Operational Management
Manage operations across the plants to fill production schedule and customer needs Ensure manufacturing areas and equipment is kept in full working condition and proper functionality Implement and maintain operational procedures and working instructions Implement and maintain performance measurement and continuous improvement Manage actual spend , cost optimization, and accurate cost allocation on cost center and product level Oversee work in process inventory and ensure stock accuracy in SAP, within areas of responsibility
Performance and People Management
Enables/Fosters people development (e.g.

performance evaluation, training, coaching, talent identification, promotion) Directly contribute to create/enhance high performance organization with culture of excellence and continuous improvement Lead and develop team towards operational excellence and build a high performance organization Develop and implement performance measurement (areas/people) for all levels within Operations Sets targets, monitors achievement and develops corrective actions.

Motivate for achievement Support product introduction activities for business development Responsible for Annual Budget, input to investment budget, and product costing Lead and Champion efficiency improvement projects and activities
ESHA & Quality/GMP & Sustainability
Drive managerial actions to improve sustainability Support quality programs and certification processes Initiate risk analysis and safeguard implementation Active participant on Local Emergency Management and support Emergency Response Team
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related field 10+ years’ experience in chemical plant production and management 3+ years in leadership positions Ability to work with global partners and has cross cultural exposure preferred Experience in Lean & Six Sigma methodologies and knowledge of manufacturing technologies & chemical processes Knowledge of safety and environmental laws and regulations
