Learn more about MedMen and The MedMen Foundation at www.medmen.com Job Summary The Senior Director, Marketing, Ecommerce and CRM will report to the Chief Revenue Officer and will be responsible for the performance and optimization of the marketing department’s effectiveness in driving sales and awareness.

This key leadership position will be responsible for both marketing operational efficiency, as well as creating a dynamic and ROI positive marketing strategy that supports the growth of both retail stores and ecommerce.

This position will also ensure marketing alignment and communications across the marketing team, in addition to the broader MedMen organization.

The Senior Director will lead marketing campaign strategy in stores and online, support brand awareness initiatives, and oversee budgeting, planning, and reporting.

This position will also drive CRM, ecommerce, our Loyalty program, and the development of marketing automation solutions that support these initiatives through the sourcing and management of technology partnerships.

The role will focus on the continuous improvement and ongoing success of all marketing programs and will understand best practices across the business-marketing industry, as well as spearhead consistent updating of marketing operations and revenue driving programs.

* Provides support to the Chief Revenue Officer in leading overall marketing strategy planning and efficiency.* Defines, builds, and manages the marketing calendar and ensures alignment with Financial sales plans and the overall goals and objectives of the MedMen organization.* Drives continuous efficiency and improvement within the marketing organization and expands personnel capabilities through on-going training and development programs.* Leads the definition, automation and streamlining of marketing operation processes, including ecommerce, CRM management, SMS, Loyalty, Business Intelligence and digital advertising partnerships.* Establishes operational processes for the Marketing team, and manages work, creates clarity of roles and responsibilities, and defines workflows.* Provides leadership and support to programs and campaigns resulting in more efficient program process, and project performance.* In partnership with marketing team members and other MedMen departments, maintains detailed plans for key campaign programs, reporting dashboards, workflow tools, documentation and tracking.* Leads marketing vendor management by identifying, selecting, engaging and managing vendor relationships and works closely with these organizations to review and approve marketing tools* Plays a lead role in financial and budgeting efforts and collaborates with Finance to determine budgetary allocations and approaches for the department.

Basic Qualifications * 10+ years of experience working in a managerial marketing position with a complex, fast-paced and competitive environment.* Proven successful experience in project management and program improvement, having constructed plans that are demonstrable in understanding critical marketing paths and task dependencies.* Must have experience in overseeing and defining the strategy and tactical implementation of a robust CRM program in a traditional retail/direct to consumer setting.* Must have ecommerce management experience and experience integrating 3rd party programs into the site.* Must have experience with Email and SMS Marketing, and overseeing a successful loyalty program.* Must have experience leading a team to the successful completion of marketing campaigns (digital/online and offline/stores) from its conceptualization to the achievement of its’ financial and customer engagement objectives.* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills are required.* Effective communication skills and the ability to lead and persuade through presentation.

Must be able to convey complex messages in a clear, simple, relatable and convincing manner.* Must have the unique ability to effectively interact with and relate to people at all levels of the organization to move and influence the team into a common direction and vision.* Candidate must be a self-starter, be self-motivated and an inspirational leader to the marketing organization.* Flexibility to work in a collaborative structure and ability to work across various departments and functions.* Proficiency in marketing automation and marketing financial analysis tools as well as all MS Office solutions.* Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred.

Working Conditions This position operates in a professional corporate office setting, and most time will be spent sitting and standing in an office or remote work environment.
