As a Senior Catering Sales Manager for Patina Restaurant Group, you are responsible for seeking new business opportunities for Catering Corporate functions and other types of events in the Los Angeles market.The ideal candidate will have extensive catering experience, along with a solid reputation, and preferably some exposure within the entertainment industry.
The Catering Sales Manager will work closely with the Director of Sales to ensure flawless execution of every PRG event.We are searching for an energetic, personable, and process driven person to solicit & manage special events and catering for the designated unit that lead to market share & revenue growth for PRG.ObjectivesActively solicit new business, responding to all inquiries with hopes of acheiving profitable catering business and quarterly sales goals.Manage all sales calls, site visits and cold calling as necessary to generate revenue and book businessDevelop and execute strategic sales plans to maximize food & beverage/event related revenues for Patina Restaurant Group through direct sales and upselling.Create contracts, banquet event order, and event layouts based on client needs and best operational scenariosCollaborate with supporting departments and upper management to achieve clients goalsResponsible for collecting deposits and payments based on company procedures.Solicit & manage special events and catering for the designated unit that lead to market share & revenue growth for Pating Restaurant GroupConduct property tours and tastings; entertain planners of meetings, social events, and weddings.Foster solid relationships with clients and Sales team to ensure communication is streamlined, generating a positive work enviromnemt and promoting repeat clienteleAttend industry related events to promote the PRG brand and drive new business.RequirementsA minimum of 4 years strong food and beverage sales and logistics with a catering company, event company or entertainment field, strongly desired.Demonstrated ability to achieve sales goalsGood general knowledge of restaurants and catering in and around the Los Angeles market; Offsite Catering is a mustExperience in selling off-site catering functionsProven ability to foster solid relationships with others at every levelBe able and willing to work as business dictatesMaintain a professional environmentHandle high volume of workDetail orientedAttend all events as directedAbility to multi-task to consistently deliver high standards of care to existing customers and to promote further business by exceeding customer expectations where possible.Experience with Reserve software is highly preferred.The Rewards:Competitive compensation packageMajor medical insurance optionsDental, Vision and life insurancePaid vacation401K programCompany Dining programWe’re looking for a highly motivated career-focused individual with the ability to exceed our guests’ expectations to become part of the winning team at the Patina Restaurant Group EOE.We are more than just an equal opportunity employer and enthusiastically celebrate the powerful and profound diversity of our team.Experience:Offsite Catering: 2 years (Required)
