What Youll Do

Operations Supervisors are always at the center of the action.  They are relentlessly seeking to support their team to deliver on our customer promises.  They have a continuous improvement mindset always looking to enhance processes.  The work is dynamic on a day to day basis, with the need to serve a variety of customers and work within different operating models.

 An Operations Supervisor must create and foster a positive work environment where team members are valued and coached to improve.

The Operations Supervisors must be able to overcome constant change and communicate effectively with team members, and customer service center staff in a respectful and clear manner.  

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Start and End of Shift excellence to ensure fast start and clean hand-offs
Motivate the team to exceed customer expectations
Provide feedback to team members on following expectations and coaching for improvement
Route pick up list for drivers
Adjust route as needed
Appointment time changes
Print out schedule for drivers
Make sure delivery staff receives schedule for their initial start time and any subsequent changes.
Look for any alerts that may affect the schedule and deliveries (Traffic, Weather alerts etc…)
Report ebike or delivery vehicle maintenance needs accordingly.
Receive, review and distribute inspection reports concerning the fleet.
Foster Customer Service, Success, & Standards
Ensure professionalism and courtesy when interfacing with customers while maintaining the notable CDC-regulated 6-feet rule to complete the order delivery process
Initiate, coordinate, and enforce operational policies and procedures while maintaining healthy, safety, and hygiene standards and regulations
Ensure the team is focused on Safety & Security, Quality, Cost and People key metrics
Receive & Retrieve Orders
Receive orders and process requests via an online ordering system and work side-by-side with associates, and management team to ensure order accuracy and compliance
Retrieve and prepare orders checking for accuracy by pulling materials and packaging inventory as each customer submits requests
Maintain order freshness by following strict hygiene and food safety guidelines and working against tight deadlines
Deduce and interpret critical order details to ensure accuracy
Lead by example the policies and practices expected by the team
What We Want From You:
Must have experience supervising or giving and receiving feedback to improve or ensure compliance to procedures and processes
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all team members
Must be able to deal with conflict
Must have ability to motivate others
Courier/delivery experience a plus
Comfortable working outside
Ability to lift 50 pounds (this is a delivery service; will need to lift throughout the day)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Occasionally move around the property by walking for extended periods of time.
Frequently operate small office equipment such as cash register, calculator, copier/printer
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is performed in outdoor environments.
Employees are subject to environmental conditions including extreme heat and cold weather.
Protection from weather conditions may be provided, but not necessarily from temperature changes.
