The Operations Manager is responsible for the efficient day-to-day operations of the branch, including leading a team of Supervisors and managing the branch’s annual budget and operating plan.

 What You’ll Do

•   You will be leading the daily safe, efficient, legal, and economical operations of the branch including warehouse and tank farm while supporting transportation team.

•   Facilitating compliance to corporate health, safety, and environmental affairs policies, including completion of trainings, documentation, and record-keeping.

•   Implementing and handling our branch health and safety program and conducting safety audits in conjunction with Branch Operations Supervisors or Regulatory Managers, in addition to all regulartory compliance audits and inspections.

•   Conducting incident investigations and communicating root causes and recommending preventive measures to our District Operations Manager.

•   Making sure all employees have the required tools and training on safety, operation standards, and department goals.

•   Helping to build a positive work environment and encouraging employee ownership of branch operations and performance by overseeing day to day work activities through accountability.

•   Leading interviewing, hiring, training, mentoring and evaluating Supervisors and Team.

 What you’ll need

•   High School Diploma/GED required

•   Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience

•   3-5+ years of experience in Operations

•   Knowledge of chemical distribution facility operation preferred

•   Solid understanding of governmental requirements related to the chemical industry; i.e. OSHA, EPA, FDA, RCRA, DOT, FRA, DHS, DEA, etc. preferred or ability to attain such knowledge

•   Leadership: ability to communicate with, support, and motivate others to achieve operational objectives

•   Strong verbal /written communication skills

 The salary range for this position is $106,180 – $138,040 per year. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive pay. Available employee benefits include health, vision, and dental. We also provide 401k matching for retirement and paid time off.
