Onsite Superintendent/Project Manager for high-end residential construction projects.
MUST have Contractor’s License and have and maintain health insurance.
Between 10 to 15 years experience in the industry is ideal / 5+ years of individual/custom home building/finish carpentry experience needed (not tract home building or bank repo renovations) Must have reliable transportation that can hold building materials and tools (jobs sites located on the west side including Pacific Palisades, Brentwood, Beverly Hills, Venice, Santa Monica, and Malibu.

JOB EXPERIENCE/ REQUIREMENTS :
-Must have the ability to create and complete final punch lists and work on a computer.
You will be required to provide daily logs, send emails, acquire specs, and update schedules as needed (user friendly custom software and I-pads will be provided).
– Ability and confidence to meet with clientele, architects, and designers.
-Must have a strong background in high end finish carpentry.
We sub 90% of our work out but you must be able to complete finish carpentry on small projects if needed.
-Must have a good understanding of reading plans, spec sheets, site drainage, stair layouts, high end window and door install, and waterproofing.
-Must show attention to detail
– we deal in very customized projects.
Our clientele is high end and every job will be specialized.
-Must be able to maintain tact and professionalism in communications with all, good sense of humor preferred
-Make sure that jobs are on time, per spec, and on budget
-Be present, on time, and manage daily operations and production of job site
-Schedule and supervise subs, and review and relay scopes of work to subs as needed.
-Keep detailed notes on all pertinent information and report anything effecting timelines, conditions, change orders, etc.
-Ensure safety regulations, codes, and security are maintained at the job-sites.
– Must have Contractor’s License
– Must have and maintain health insurance
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
-Experience in framing, foundations or other hands-on construction is a big plus.
We prefer someone with the ability to be hands on if push comes to shove and deadlines need to be met.
-Experience and familiarity with West LA area homes and codes is a big plus but not required
