To qualify for the role you must have
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and approximately 5+ years of related work experience
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant tax consulting experience or equivalent experience in business or industry;
- Experience (i) with international tax matters and (ii) working with privately-held business and high-net worth individuals/families
- A US CPA license, state bar membership, or eligibility to obtain a CPA or state bar membership within the first year of employment
- Experience with a variety of international and individual tax issues, including third-party and internal transactions; experience preparing or reviewing domestic income tax and/or U.S.
international informational returns (Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 1040,1065, 1120, 1120-S); experience with tax research and writing; experience with tax modelling in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent managerial, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills
Ideally, you’ll also have
- A masters, PhD, or LLM in Business, Tax, Finance, Economics, Management, Policy Analysis or a related field
- The ability to communicate complex tax concepts to clients
- Confidence in your ability to prioritize when working on multiple complex projects
- MS office background and a willingness to travel
