National Sales Manager

Job Title: National Sales Manager, Natural Channel Department: SalesReports to: Director of Sales, Natural Channel Classification: ExemptPay Range: $115,000 to $130,000/ annumPosition Description: The NSM will be responsible for executing the sales objectives and initiatives for the field sales team (Territory Managers).

This includes, but is not limited to, the list below:Leads, coaches, motivates, and supports ongoing the TMs across the US for the Natural Channel.Develops and trains the TMs on selling techniques and best practices to improve sales productivity.Directs the activities of the TMs to achieve and exceed sales goals and budgets.Works with TMs ongoing with their accounts, ensuring the best SKU assortment and trade plans are implemented.Leads national sales calls and presentations with the TMs.Assists with the implementation of a CRM, along with Director of Sales, so that territory is covered comprehensively and with continuity.Assists TMs with merchandising and marketing program execution at the store level.Works with Key Account Managers on executing promotional plans and initiatives with sales team on specific key accounts.Minimum RequirementsBachelor’s degree, and 5 years of management experience.Ideal candidate must have demonstrated ability to lead, coach and motivate a team staying within sales budget guidelines.Ideal candidate must have strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze syndicated data, POS data, and trade spending.Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills, computer skills and understanding of MS Excel, PowerPoint & MS word.Ability to travel 50%.
