Responsibilities: This Mortgage Processing Supervisor position is responsible for all aspects of residential mortgage loan processing & closings with special attention paid to compliance, loan quality and timing.
The individual supervises a team of loan processors and ensure that mortgage loans are processed and completed according to established policies and procedures.
Additional duties:Supervises mortgage processing staff to ensure that proper documentation and customer service are met for both internal and external customers Maintains accurate documentation and timely delivery of documents to appropriate personnel Conducts and oversee the acquisition of loan applications and related documents, credit documents, appraisals, etc.
Conducts and oversees verifications and quality control of loan processing documents Establishes productions goals and monitors progress of self and team against those goals Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent educational/work experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred 5-8 years experience in residential mortgage lending processing, with a working knowledge of laws, regulations, policies and procedures governing Bank and residential real estate lending, including RESPA, TILA, ECOA and HMDA.
2 years supervising others or performing team lead functions.
Knowledge of real estate documents; title commitments, surveys, appraisals, etc.
Must demonstrate advanced processing knowledge in Conventional, Government, Home Equity, Home Improvement , and Real Estate Improved/Unimproved loan documents, including appraisal reviews, underwriting guidelines and loan delivery parametersSkills:Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Word; basic keyboarding and calculator skills; must be able to do simple math and carry out written instructions.
Work occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential functions of the position Lifting in an office setting may be required up to 30 lbs.Equal Opportunity Employer
