Karat has amassed the largest and most robust dataset of structured interview intelligence to produce never-before-seen hiring analytics.As the world continues to transition to virtual work, and the fairness of hiring practices in the tech industry come under greater scrutiny, Karat is uniquely positioned to be a valuable, strategic partner as companies transition to 100% remote hiring.Founded in 2014, Karat is a privately held and venture-funded company based in Seattle.Marketing at KaratKarat is actively growing a digital marketing program that will build brand affinity with buyers, practitioners, candidates, and Interview Engineers. The Marketing Operations Manager will build, manage, and enhance a robust marketing machine that creates engaging experiences for multiple audiences and connects our marketing investments to clear business outcomes.They will do this as the primary user and manager of the current marketing tech stack (including Pardot, WordPress, Demandbase, and Salesforce), enhancing it over time to meet new business objectives, managing on-demand reporting for key go to market metrics, and owning the implementation and efficacy of marketing and sales workflows that impact go to market outcomes. And of course, using a marketing-mindset to always put the experiences of the audience first.This role is full time. Candidates may be based in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, or Los Angeles.Core Responsibilities* Marketing automation: Developing, testing, and optimizing email marketing programs, campaign landing pages, and the workflows that maintain tracking, reporting, and lead assignment behind them* Sales operations: Workflows, assignment rules, lead efficacy, and data hygiene needed to support strategic decision making and day-to-day performance management reporting* Website management: Light website management including development of landing pages and updating existing content* Reporting and analytics: Build and maintain dashboards and reports that cover key quantitative results like website behavior, lead velocity, pipeline velocity, website conversions, impact of program spend, and leverage your intellectual curiosity to suggest and apply optimizations for improved results* Budget: Track expenses from all areas of marketing, using this as an input for key metrics including Cost per Lead, Cost per Opportunity, and ROI* Project management: Create clear workbacks that leverage appropriate owners and stakeholders for projects that may include launching a new lead nurture, to the selection and adoption of new technologies, and remain accountable to the project’s success* Training and documentation: Support marketing, sales, and finance with clear training and documentation on workflows and technologies* Vendor and contractor management: On an as needed basis, manage outside contractors to Karat’s vision of successAbout You* 3 to 5 years of dedicated experience in a highly technical marketing operations role* 1 to 2 years of Salesforce admin experience with best practices in workflow development, reporting, managing objects and fields, and maintaining hygiene* Hands-on marketing automation experience with Marketo or Pardot. This includes email campaign development, landing page development, segmentation, maintaining GDPR and CAN-SPAM compliance, hygiene, integrations, and reporting* Hands-on website management experience with WordPress* Account Based Marketing and Sales. You run display campaigns in Demandbase or a similar solution and leveraged it to inform effective ABM/ABS programs* Project management. You have a proven track record of taking a clear objective and outlining the steps and resources needed to achieve it, following through to completion* You put the audience first and sweat the details, thinking of their experience with every email, every chat, every webpage as an extension of the brand* You are highly analytical and intellectually curious.
