Position Summary:

The Manager Marketing
– Touring is responsible for overseeing marketing and promotions in order to drive ticket sales for AEG tours.

This position is also responsible for marketing assets, and will work in conjunction with artist management and the marketing team to create and develop effective, targeted marketing plans appropriate for each show.

Essential Functions:
Responsible for the development and execution of marketing and promotional plans.

Collaborates with management to plan and oversee the marketing spend.

Develop and roll out long term marketing initiatives with assistance from the marketing team.
Consolidate, communicate and manage all issues and risks affecting the marketing campaign.

Communicate project status to project participants and stakeholders accurately and on time.
Track artist timelines (e.g.

releases, key events, etc.) and specific opportunities to ensure AEG is supporting to increase exposure and capitalize on opportunities in order to sell tickets.

Partner with media team to book and execute media buys, optimize ticket sales, and report on success.

Prepare show advertising settlements.

Maintain budget allocation grids and manage invoice payment.
Conduct market research to bring new ideas, concepts, case-studies to the marketing team.

Compile relevant demographic data for marketing teams and talent buyers in order to drive the most profitable ticket sales and successful marketing campaigns.
Support management in the artist pitch process.

Manage and organize art for each show, review against style guide for management and artist approval.

Work with the creative department to create unique assets and develop image for tour/show/venue.
Lead follow up calls with regional/venue marketers to maintain good working relationships with partners, co-promoters and media to maintain long term relationships.
May be responsible for other duties day of show including but not limited to overseeing house photographers, direct management of venue websites, live updates on social media day of show, escort media, coordinate meet and greets and guest list.

Support local marketing if needed in unsupported regions.
Required Qualifications:
BA/BS Degree (4-year) (Advanced Degree Preferred)
A minimum of 4-6 years of related work experience
Previous experience with digital marketing
Knowledge of social media and digital marketing initiatives and strategies
Knowledge of MS Word, MS Exel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Exceptional written, verbal and listing communication skills
Must be creative, detail orientated with a high standard for quality and manage multiple campaigns and projects at once.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and cultivate relationships
Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of the music industry preferred
