Marketing Manager

JOB PURPOSE The primary objective of the Marketing Manager is to facilitate the optimization of the Casino revenue via the use of various Marketing strategies utilizing advertising, billboards, direct mailing, the internet, and any other opportunities as may be submitted as a recommendation to the General Manager.

Maintain effective communication with Team Members, the General Manager, and other Executive management.

Act as liaison with various media vendors.

Develop and maintain analytical data in both pro and post formats to evaluate customer return on investment.

The successful candidate will possess an associate’s degree or higher, a minimum of ten (10) years of marketing experience within the gaming industry, and a minimum of ten (10) years of manager-level experience, working with large teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES 1.

Position reports directly to the General Manager and has executive-level responsibilities.

2.

Responsible for working with management-level decision-makers to assist the property in achieving goals.

3.

Responsible for developing a strategic marketing plan for the casino to increase revenue.

4.

Responsible for establishing revenue and departmental goals.

5.

Responsible for maintaining and developing department budget and monitoring department expenditures.

6.

Responsible for the procurement and purchase of promotional materials to support marketing programs.

7.

Responsible for developing internal communications and signs to support other departments as needed.

8.

Supervises Marketing Coordinators, Promotions Supervisor, Players Club Supervisor, and Players Club employees.

9.

Manage all aspects of Direct Mail, including creative development, data management, timelines, and budget.

10.

Develop monthly direct mail campaigns, matrices, and programs to increase revenue and customer visitation.

11.

Develop and maintain email and texting programs.

12.

Analyze ADT segmentation, theoretical reinvestment, and ROI to measure offer performance.

13.

Develop monthly and weekly promotions to increase revenue, card utilization, and customer engagement.

14.

Provide pre and post-analysis for marketing promotions and events to Gaming Commission and General Manager.

15.

Develop advertisements working with an outside agency for media buys, creative design, and media placement.

16.

Manage and maintain website content for monthly promotions and other updates as needed.

17.

Establish goals and objectives for the Players Club.

18.

Monitor performance of Players Club operations, tier program, and the overall guest experience.

19.

Develop new tier programs and sign-up incentives to increase card utilization.

20.

Responsible for mentoring and coaching staff as needed.
