The Manager, Warehouse will be responsible for all aspects of the warehouse operation and assume day-to-day responsibilities. Operational areas of responsibility may include but are not limited to: Receiving, Quality, Stocking, Picking, Shipping, and Inventory Management.Responsibilities:Cooperate with customer quality inspectors to complete the quality acceptance processMaintain warehouse staff training employees, as well as, monitor performance and progressEnsure compliance with federal/state/local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirementsEnsure processes for packing, staging, and loading of product is optimized in support of meeting customer ship datesEnsure all required paperwork for each shipment is complete and that retention of all required documents are filed appropriatelyEnsure validation of receipts is conducted and discrepancies responded to in a timely mannerEnsure the timely return of rejected materials to the supplierEnsure that all products that are shipped from suppliers are received in a timely manner based on standard proceduresImplement policies and procedures; audit and update periodically based on continuous improvementEnsure metrics are tracked and reported daily to include but not limited to timely and accurate transactions: receipt, put-away, customer on-time shipments, internal delivery, inventory accuracy and productivityPick, repack and ship according to customer needsUse the company’s ERP system to complete the above receipt and shipment processes and warehouse inventory management to ensure that the accounts and materials are consistentInventory is regularly inventoried and coordinated with irregular customs inventory auditsOptimize warehouse management processes Use certain supply management, safety stock management knowledge, do a good job of safety stock early warning Cooperate with and complete other tasks in line with the company’s overall goals and the arrangements of superior leadersWork in conjunction with Sales and Purchasing to meet company’s strategic and tactical objectivesCoordinate with vendors and carriers to ensure shipping methods and materials are established and maintainedParticipate in leadership and team building eventsPartner with HR and EHS/Facilities to ensure that labor and safety protocols are adhered toBe responsible for identify and leading new opportunities for the business Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, supply chain, logistics or related field; or equivalent experience3+ years’ experience in Warehouse managementExperience in picking, packing and creating ordersMust have warehouse management and import and export knowledgeMust have working knowledge of inventory practices and general aerospace requirements regarding sameAdditional skills in inventory management and quality management, etc., is preferableProactive problem solver and strong analytical skills with demonstrated creative and critical thinking skillsCreating & printing shipping labels (FedEx, UPS)Comfortable working in a team settingMust be computer savvy and learn company proprietary software programsAbility to use Microsoft Office applicationsMust have organization skillsMust be able to lift 20lbs+Highly skilled in engaging teams to deliver results in a rapidly changing environmentSuccessful track record for building, and maintaining, strong internal and external customer relationshipsDemonstrate ability to exercise sound judgment and make timely business decisionsIntermediate to advanced computer and business proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to meet deadlines quickly and accurately, multi-task, and work well under pressure with changing prioritiesJob Type: Full TimePay: $90,000.00 – $95,000.00 annuallyFDH is an Equal Opportunity Employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
