Retail Marketing Manager

Position Summary: This position exists to ensure proper execution of the Marketing & Communication strategy for US Galleries (New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Miami). The Marketing Manager is heavily involved in branding and event planning in the Americas. Being able to create relationships with internal and external partners and vendors is key. This person is also tasked with increasing foot traffic in galleries through creative marketing efforts. This is a great position for someone looking to transition to the next step in their sales or marketing career.

 

Position Responsibilities:

  Marketing planning

·       Build effective 360 degrees local marketing plans for each gallery with clear objectives, based on the global strategy

·       Budget management – monitor and manage marketing expenses of galleries

 

Marketing activities

·       Manage marketing activities for clear ROI

·       Evaluate local activation proposals from stores, from PR firms and potential partners

·       Be able to identify and build local partnerships, and negotiate effective deals / counterparts

·       Design, plan and execute effective events and other programs to meet clear marketing and business objectives (traffic in galleries, brand building, sales)

·       Secure brand control through all executions, in line with brand guides

 

Direct store support

·       Build strong relationship with our retail partners, take the lead to improve our interaction with them and get maximum results in all aspects of Marketing.

·       Be able to respond to stores with trade marketing supports that address in-market challenges, in a way that is consistent with the brand

·       Ensure the right collaterals are in place as well as marketing reporting tools in each store

·       Support all store openings across the region and support launch of the brand in each market in collaboration with the partner

 

Communication

·       Create a strong Marketing lead over the region with the retail partners, the stores.

·       Coordinate communication between stores, PR firm, partners, and global marketing

·       Maintain any digital channels as per guidelines agreed with global marketing 

·       Maintain partner’s communication channels in line with brand guidelines

Position Requirements:

·       Marketing background for lifestyle or luxury brands, preferably furniture or home accessories

·       Experience on Retail brands or strong understanding of Retail

·       Minimum of 4 – 6 years’ experience in marketing management

·       Project management skills

·       Excellent communication skills

·       Ability to manage competing priorities

·       Energetic, with good attention to detail

·       CAN-DO mentality

·       Track record of delivering against deadlines and on budget

·       Ability to travel up to 25% (local, national and global)
