Join us to bring the gift of health to life.Manager of Total RewardsWest Hills, CA (Hybrid/Remote) The Manager, Total Rewards oversees the day-to-day enterprise-wide compensation, benefit, recognition and support HR Operations on policies and programs. The manager will ensure legal compliance and cost effectiveness and that healthcare resources are allocated to support the most critical business initiatives and ensure effective delivery of total rewards programs that align with the Pharmavite’s long term strategic plan. Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver:Provides overall management and direction to compensation, benefits and policies in the areas of performance management and succession planning.Subject matter expert to develop action plans and measurements required to ensure effective compensation, benefit, and recognition, and policies and programs. Ensures programs are aligned with established company principles, objectives, and the Company’s Reward Strategy. Monitors market trend to ensure programs in their totality are competitive.Investigates, analyzes, designs, and administers the corporate employee benefits, compensation, and recognition programs with the goal of attracting, retaining and motivating employees as well as supporting the Company’s strategic plan.Assesses and manages the impact of benefit plan changes on projected costs, other benefit plans, regulatory and legal compliance, and employee relations.Responsible for the salary administration program including development and maintenance of job descriptions, analysis of jobs, annual and ongoing benchmarking of exempt and non-exempt positions including setting band spreads, the development of merit guidelines/processes.Consults with the Human Resources (HR) team to evaluate and analyze salary data; makes recommendations consistent with our compensation philosophy.Oversight of 401(k) Savings Plan including fiduciary responsibilities, compliance, discrimination testing, eligibility tracking and enrollments, employee education and distributions. Coordinates activities of the 401(k) Working Group. Experience in collaborating with the HR team in strategic design and rollout of benefits, wellness, compensation, recognition and Total Rewards programs and enhancements. Trains the HR team, and management across the company as necessary.Ensures all audit and ERISA compliance activities are met on a timely basis.Responsible for all compensation, benefit, and recognition communications. Develops communication strategy and plan; implements effectively.Prepares and monitors the corporate benefit budget and a portion of the HR department budget.Directs, trains, coaches, and develops team to ensure quality and quantity of employee work and compliance with all applicable Company policies and regulatory requirements.Develops and/or implements corporate training programs, ensuring management’s understanding through continual education and training as appropriate. Performs other related duties as assigned.You’ll be most successful in this role if you have:Comprehensive knowledge of compensation laws (i.e. FLSA, ADA) and strategies, benefits design, LOA administration, ERISA laws and tax laws as they relate to qualified benefit plans.Excellent knowledge of compensation principles, trends and design including pay for performance practices. Strong executive compensation knowledge preferred.Proven effectiveness in both strategic thought leadership and tactical administration aligned with a company’s overall strategic goals.Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.Excellent analytical and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.Strong influencing and negotiating skills.Demonstrated ability to develop, gain approval and implement strategies in areas of expertise.In order to take on these challenges, you’ll need to have:Requires a four-year college or university degree or its equivalent; a degree in Human Resources Management or Business preferred. An equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.CCP and/CEBS preferred.Requires eight plus years’ experience in progressively responsible management positions in area of focus. Two years’ experience managing large (over $1 million) budgets and vendor contracts. Two years’ experience in a supervisory role. Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory, legal requirements and reporting, including ACA, COBRA, EEO, ERISA, HIPAA, FLSA, and FMLA. Outstanding verbal and written communication, presentation, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
