Job Description:
The Project Manager
– New Product Development (NPD) will oversee all new product development, product enhancements, and technical partnerships in line with current business priorities and the Cosasco product roadmap.
You will own all activities related to scheduling, resource loading, risk analysis, stage gate processes, and leadership updates with the expectation of ensuring all projects are delivered on-time and within budget.
This role is critical to the long-term financial health of the business and to improving relationships by exceeding customer expectations.
The Project Manager
– NPD should have proven experience managing several projects concurrently, expertise with project management / collaboration software, and a strong understanding of PM fundamentals.
Preferred experience includes PMP certification, technical product development, and influential leadership with a strong knowledge of the oil & gas industry including process instrumentation, corrosion / material science, and digital product lines.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure deliverables meet client and company expectations Establish and maintain positive internal and external client relationships and effective communication on project schedule, risks, and issues.
Develop and maintain schedules that optimize the use of key project resources Establish and communicate effective KPIs to evaluate progress and identify risk Work across the business, and especially with marketing, to formulate and drive the R&D activity to deliver to the current product roadmap Support annual and strategic planning efforts, including full budget plan in line with product roadmap Be the key contact for customers and vendors within scope of work and proactively communicate Engage heavily in technical networking and industry discussions to seek out and exploit new technology and technology partners; drive innovation into the product line.
Be an engaging, pro-active, challenging, and fully participating member of the leadership team.
As such, be a leader across the whole of the business, and participate at the most senior level in the management of the company.
