Manager, Social Strategy

We are looking for a Manager, Social Strategy (Dramas) to join the CBS Marketing team.

You will be responsible for developing and delivering social strategy, including social brief, approach and platform strategy, talent engagement plan, voice and tone, measurement and reporting for a slate of Drama series and content.

Were looking for the Manager to work closely with the Global Brand Strategy team, the On-Air Planning team, and the Creative and Media teams to build innovative, ground-breaking campaigns.

Youll engage and serve as the main point of contact for social agencies/vendors, if applicable.

You will develop editorial framework/architecture, lead social brainstorming and participate in Show Pod planning.

You will also partner with Social Producers to bring plans to fruition and Creative Directors, Designers, and Jr.

Producers to drive creative vision and social standard methodologies.

You will partner with Publicity to drive talent engagement and build talent-specific social plans to optimize talent participation and social engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Social media approach/brief (includes strategy, engagement, tone, dos/do nots)

• Editorial calendar framework

• Social content collection needs

• Social agency management (if applicable)

• Ideation/development of social component of coordinated campaigns

• Measurement of ongoing campaigns

• Social inputs for Campaign Wrap Reports

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years in social media, digital, television and/or entertainment

• Deep knowledge base of social media platforms

• Track record of innovative social/digital campaigns

• Understanding of scripted television production

• Comfortable in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint

• Bachelors Degree, preferred
