The Role
The Manager, Product Communications, will be a key member of the Communications team that is viewed by Netflix senior management as strategically critical to build on the company’s established success and reinforce its reputation in an ever-changing, complex and competitive global media landscape. This role will craft and tell our product and innovation stories that shape the Netflix member experience and engage consumer and technology forward audiences. They will manage product announcements, identify and mitigate issues, develop thought leadership around Netflix innovation, and collaborate with other communications, publicity, marketing, policy, and product colleagues around the world.

This role is based out of the Los Angeles OR Los Gatos office and reports to the Director of Communications for Product, Technology, and Games.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in corporate or agency settings, preferably on a global scale, with a focus on technology products
Background in journalism and/or entertainment business also highly relevant
Familiar with, and enthusiastically curious about, the intersection of technology and entertainment, AI, privacy and other topics shaping the conversation around tech industry
Good media relationships at traditional and emerging consumer and tech outlets
Experience working influencers a plus
Ability to leverage insights, develop and secure stories aligned to company priorities
Good track record in handling and successfully delivering on a high volume of complex projects and tasks
Clear and concise communication style that can effectively convey complex ideas written and verbally
Meticulous organizational skills, good judgment of brand and comms risks, and effective time management
Have a point of view, and able to offer their unique perspective and voice
